Forget Me Not: Community of Practice

Initiator of the Forget Me Not project, edEUcation is a consultancy specialising in vocational education with experience in international education programmes. 
It is also qualified in the development of online tools and educational programmes for professionals. It is responsible for the various technical works especially in relation to the evolution of the digital platform and the adaptation of tools to facilitate digital access.

The Platform of carers can be seen as a "gateway" to a support network for carers. Its main function is to direct carers towards respite services tailored to their needs, and to foster links with local players by providing local support via their branches.

The Union Départementale des Associations Familiales of Charente (France) is an institution in charge of defending and representing the interests of all families. It brings together 61 family associations, i.e. more than 5000 families. It carries out political action at local level towards the public authorities. In response to its observations of families’ needs, it also develops and manages numerous services and activities for them.

ARTIED is a Creativity and Educational Studio centred around the concept of Art Inspired Education.

We organize short training and creativity boosting sessions that provoke curiosity about different art movements, authors and works of classical, modern and postmodern art, increase creativity and out-of-the-box thinking and help people discover new things about themselves and the world around them.

Current activities: provision of innovative social services for families with patients with Alzheimer's disease/Dementia (legal, psychological consultations, including e-mail and telephone consultations), music-therapy, art appreciation, table tennis and other non-pharmacological methods, conduction of Alzheimer café and support groups for caregivers, information campaigns for prevention, lobbying in Bulgaria for improved services and accessible treatment, trainings of professionals and caregivers.

The Reminiscence Center is a non-profit organization whose goal is to develop non-pharmaceutical methods of reminiscence and support the active use of memories, especially in old age. The center also supports people with cognitive problems and their formal and informal caregivers. Its main activities include the implementation of reminiscence projects, educational courses and conferences, and publishing activities.

SOSU Østjylland is a school that provides basic education to more than 3000 students, the majority of whom are women, in the field of social and health care, at home and in institutions, for a wide range of people, elderly, children and adults. Students and staff participate in international mobilities and the institution has its own multimedia production unit. It is currently running various projects: Dementia, respect and respite; Approaching multiethnicity and dementia in education and work.

DIE PERSPEKTIVENSCHMIEDE works in the coaching area with job seekers, parents, people who are looking to change, people starting out on their careers, employees and managers, self-employed people or those who want to become self-employed.

NGO FRODIZO is a member of the Greek Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders. It works with elderly people, dementia patients and formal / informal carers. It runs a day care centre for people with dementia in Patras, offers a home intervention program for families of these people and training seminars for carers. It also develops information and awareness-raising actions and online interventions.

Emphasys Centre is approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth, offering training courses to professionals, adults, young people and students thus promoting digital skills. More specifically, it offers specialized courses for professional development, validated courses for the acquisition of professional qualifications, as well as courses for students aiming to enter higher education institutions (universities) in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.

OJB Shalom is a Bulgarian NGO that preserves Jewish traditions and culture in the country and supports the community.

Vincore is a non-profit cooperative created in 2021 with the aim to share experiences and techniques to accompany older people and, above all, for people with cognitive impairment, people with loss of autonomy and/or who live in residential environments, care homes.

The University of Zaragoza is a public teaching and research institution with a constantly updated range of courses, with more than 30,000 students and 5,100 teachers and researchers. Thanks to the numerous agreements it has signed, it welcomes foreign students and involves its students and staff in various international exchange programmes. It teaches neuropsychology, psychopathology and gerontology and conducts research on dementia and caregiving.
